After School Program Bus Driver/Group Leader

About the Role:
Giguere Gymnastics in Leicester, MA is looking for an energetic and dependable EEC After School Program Bus Driver/Group Leader to join our team! This unique dual role puts you at the heart of our after school program — keeping kids safe on the road and engaged once they arrive. Shift: 

• Monday - Friday 2:00-5:00pm
• Driving the bus 2:00-3:30pm
• Working in the classroom 3:30-5:00pm
• School 1/2 days 11:00-5:00pm (varies)
• School Vacations off 

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport students from school to the after school program facility
• Supervise and lead a group of school-age children during after school program hours
• Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities, games, and enrichment programs
• Maintain a safe, positive, and structured environment for all participants
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and program staff
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and adhere to all transportation safety protocols
• Maintain accurate attendance records and incident reports as required

Requirements:

• Valid Massachusetts CDL with Passenger and School Bus (S) endorsements preferred
• EEC (Early Education and Care) certification or ability to obtain one
• Previous experience working with school-age children in a group setting
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check
• Strong communication, leadership, and classroom management skills
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Reliable, patient, and enthusiastic about youth development
