Description

Job Title: Aftermarket Business Development Manager (Aerospace Domain)

Duration: Direct Hire 

Shift Hours: 8-5 pm

Salary: $130k/Yr. to $150k/Yr.  base + 15% Bonus 

 

Notes:

  • Must have aerospace/manufacturing industry experience.
  • Must have a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience), along with 10+ years of experience in product management, aftermarket services, business development, or program management? (Required)
  • Must have led cross-functional product line or program initiatives involving revenue growth, portfolio management, or new product/retrofit business cases?

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving aftermarket service center's financial goals in coordination with the assigned operating division, which includes one or more sites.
  • Acts as primary strategic Product Line focal point for aftermarket services covering a range of products, services, and customers.
  • Works closely with division, site(s), and SSO Regional Segment teams to maximize long-term aftermarket revenues and provide short- and long-term sales forecasts.
  • Collaborates with the Aftermarket Services Manager on strategy and execution requirements and leads project teams to improve process results.
  • Acts as the primary strategic customer contact for aftermarket products and services, including product repairs, spares, logistics, contract, and pricing negotiations.
  • Develops and supports proposals and contracts by researching customer requirements and translating them into development opportunities.
  • Conducts competitive research, evaluates sales performance, and formulates goals and milestones for products and systems.
  • Serves as a liaison with customers and Regional/Group Marketing to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction related to cost, product quality, delivery, and performance.
  • Develops and maintains customer relationships to identify future market needs and business opportunities.
  • Identifies business development opportunities through market intelligence, competitor analysis, and industry trends.
  • Establishes goals and objectives by coordinating efforts across the division and Aftermarket Service Managers and recommends actions based on data analysis.
  • Develops and runs portfolio optimization exercises using analytics to optimize revenue and earnings.
  • Responsible for the development and guidance of new retrofit business cases to support the launch of new products and services.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor degree.
