About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated afternoon float to join our team at Cornerstone Preschool and Childcare. As an afternoon float, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for our young learners. This position is perfect for high schoolers looking for a job that offers flexibility with their school & sports schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate curriculum
- Provide care and support for children's physical, emotional, and social development
- Communicate effectively with parents and provide updates on their child's progress
- Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment
- Assist with serving meals and snacks, diapering, and nap time routines
- Implement closing classroom procedures
Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Possess or willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
- Patient, nurturing, and compassionate demeanor
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
