Afternoon Float Teacher (EEC Certified)

Location: The Learning Experience - Dedham, MA

Pay: $22-$23 per hour

Schedule: Part-Time, Monday-Friday (3:00 PM - 6:00 PM)

Afternoon Float Teacher - Multi-Classroom Support

The Learning Experience - Dedham is seeking a certified Afternoon Float Teacher to support infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms during afternoon routines and end-of-day transitions. This role helps maintain a safe, engaging, and organized environment for children and families during pickup hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Support classrooms across multiple age groups during afternoon hours
• Assist with classroom activities, transitions, and dismissal routines
• Help maintain classroom organization and cleanliness
• Provide ratio coverage as needed throughout the center
• Communicate professionally with families and teaching team members
• Follow Massachusetts EEC licensing and safety requirements

Qualifications

• Massachusetts EEC Infant/Toddler and Preschool certification required
• Prior childcare experience preferred
• Comfortable supporting multiple classroom environments
• Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented approach
• Must meet Massachusetts EEC licensing requirements

Compensation: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
