Afternoon Production Worker – Boardman, OH

We are currently seeking an energetic and reliable Afternoon Production Worker for a manufacturing company located in the Youngstown, Ohio area. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team in a dynamic environment.

This manufacturing company specializes in custom kits and parts, supporting various customer needs. As an Afternoon Production Worker, you will play a key role in assembling and ensuring the quality of products, operating tools and machinery, and helping maintain efficient production flow. The position offers a friendly workplace where your skills will directly contribute to the company’s success. Hours
2nd Shift: 2:00pm – 10:30pm, Monday – Friday

Pay
Starting at $17.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure parts are built to blueprint specifications
  • Complete sub-assembly of customized kits using various tools and machinery
  • Use table saws, drill presses, hand tools, etc., to help make parts for customers
  • Conduct quality checks using tape measures and calipers
  • Assemble parts using glue and adhesives
  • Assist with packaging goods for shipment
  • Verify part accuracy and quality with precision measuring tools
  • Follow health and safety guidelines
  • Minimize raw material waste through effective offcut management
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to meet shipping deadlines
  • Keep work area clean and organized

Minimum Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, standing, and walking

Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience working in a woodworking environment
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure

Preferred Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience with hand tools and machinery operation

Other Requirements
  • Ability to work on-site
  • Must adhere to safety standards
  • Ability to perform physical tasks required by the role
