Afternoon Teacher (Part-Time)

Location: The Learning Experience Ashburn, VA

Pay: $19$20 per hour

Schedule: Part-Time, MondayFriday (3:00 PM 6:00 PM)

Additional summer hours may be available

Afternoon Teacher Closing Shift Support

The Learning Experience Ashburn is seeking a dependable Afternoon Teacher to support classrooms during afternoon routines and end-of-day transitions. This role helps maintain a safe, positive environment for children and families during pickup hours.

This is a great opportunity for candidates seeking a flexible afternoon schedule, with the possibility of additional hours during the summer months.

Key Responsibilities

• Support classrooms serving infants through preschool-aged children
• Assist with afternoon activities, transitions, and dismissal routines
• Help maintain classroom organization and cleanliness
• Provide ratio coverage as needed across classrooms
• Communicate professionally with families during pickup
• Follow all Virginia licensing and safety requirements

Qualifications

• Prior childcare experience preferred
• Reliable and team-oriented approach
• Comfortable supporting multiple age groups
• Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements

Compensation: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
