    Description

    Aftersales Category Management Director

    The Aftersales Category Management Director is responsible for driving category strategy, pricing alignment, assortment planning, and lifecycle management across key aftersales portfolios, including pricing, repair and collision, and maintenance categories. This role partners cross-functionally to deliver profitable, market-competitive solutions that improve customer retention, support dealer performance, and strengthen the aftersales value proposition.

    Primary Responsibilities Include:

    • Develop and execute category strategies across Aftersales pricing, repair and collision, and maintenance portfolios with accountability for revenue growth, profitability, competitiveness, and customer value.
    • Partner with Pricing, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Service, Engineering, and Dealer Operations to align category plans with business objectives, customer needs, and channel priorities.
    • Conduct market analysis, competitive benchmarking, customer insights review, and performance diagnostics to identify category gaps, pricing opportunities, portfolio risks, and growth levers.
    • Build business cases for pricing actions, product coverage expansion, supplier opportunities, promotional strategies, and lifecycle decisions that support revenue, margin, retention, and dealer profitability.
    • Manage category lifecycle planning, assortment optimization, launch readiness, and portfolio prioritization across wholesale, dealer, eCommerce, and other aftersales channels.
    • Monitor category performance through key metrics, including sales, margin, penetration, market share, availability, repair order impact, and customer retention, while driving corrective actions as needed.

    You Will Have the Opportunity To:

    • Lead high-visibility aftersales categories that directly influence revenue growth, margin performance, customer retention, and dealer engagement.
    • Shape pricing, repair and collision, and maintenance category decisions through data-driven insights, market intelligence, and financial analysis.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Service, and Dealer Operations.
    • Contribute to a fast-paced Aftersales organization focused on profitable growth, operational execution, customer experience, and long-term loyalty.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
    • 7+ years of experience in category management, product management, pricing, aftermarket, automotive, merchandising, sales operations, or related commercial functions.
    • Experience developing business cases, pricing recommendations, portfolio strategies, and financial analyses to support revenue and margin growth.
    • Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret market data, sales trends, competitive insights, and financial performance.
    • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills with a bias for execution.

    Preferred Experience:

    • Master's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Experience in automotive OEM, Mopar/aftersales, aftermarket, parts, service, repair, collision, maintenance, or dealer-facing commercial functions.
    • Knowledge of pricing strategy, parts lifecycle management, competitive benchmarking, supplier coordination, and channel performance.
    • Understanding of customer pay, warranty, repair order, wholesale, eCommerce, or dealer service operations is preferred.
