Afterschool Aid Jersey City / Part-time

The French American Academy is looking for staff and teachers enthusiastic about working with young children to join our bilingual team after-school from 3pm to 6:30pm on both our Jersey City Campus.

Qualifications

• Over 21 years of age preferred.
• Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent ·
• Must have previous experience working with children
• Have a neat appearance and a courteous manner

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide students with the appropriate supervision ·
• Lead activities in French or in English while providing a clean, safe, and caring atmosphere for children. ·
• Prepare activities that are developmentally appropriate for the age of the children
• Communicate with the parents at daily pick-up. ·
• Trainings provided at hiring
• Proficiency in French is a plus (not required)

Work Hours and Compensation

The position is a part-time position. Pay: $20 per hour
