Ag Technology Specialist

We are partnering with an established and growing agriculture organization seeking an Ag Technology Specialist to support growers and ag customers through technology implementation, equipment optimization, and in-field consulting.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with producers, troubleshooting in real-world field environments, and helping operations improve efficiency, productivity, and ROI through precision ag solutions.

What You'll Do:

• Provide in-field support and consulting for precision ag systems, equipment, and applications
• Assist growers with setup, calibration, troubleshooting, and optimization of precision technologies
• Support implementation of GPS guidance, auto-steer, monitors, mapping, data collection, and variable rate applications
• Deliver hands-on training to customers on equipment functionality and precision farming best practices
• Analyze field data and collaborate with growers to improve operational efficiency and agronomic outcomes
• Work closely with agronomy, sales, and operations teams to ensure customer success and service excellence
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues in both field and shop environments
• Build strong long-term relationships with growers through consultative support and technical expertise

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in precision agriculture, agronomy, ag equipment, application, or farm operations
• Working knowledge of precision ag platforms, monitors, GPS systems, auto-steer, mapping, or field technology
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose/troubleshoot equipment and technology issues
• Comfortable working independently in field environments and interacting directly with producers
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
• Agriculture background strongly preferred

Preferred Experience:

• Exposure to systems such as Precision Planting, AFS, Ag Leader, FieldView, John Deere Operations Center, Raven, Trimble, or similar technologies
• Background in agronomy, application equipment, planter technology, or in-field support services
• Precision ag setup, calibration, implementation, or consulting experience
