Ag Underwriting Customer Service Representative

What You'll Do:

  • As an Ag Underwriting Customer Service Representative, you will:
  • Ensure continuous growth of the company, providing quality service for the Ag Business Unit through prompt assistance and processing.
  • Assist with coverage, rating and billing processes on ag accounts through workflow, phone calls and e-mail.
  • Review submitted materials for completeness and accuracy, following up as needed.
  • Create and maintain positive relationships with co-workers, agents and client/members.
  • Be a resource for questions, assisting with education and training as well.
  • Flexibility is key, as you will have other duties and projects as assigned.

What It Takes to Join Our Team:

  • Ag/farming background is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Flexibility to organize and process work with limited supervision under tight deadlines.
  • Strong customer service skills, including excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have basic math skills and ability to learn basic knowledge of insurance products.
  • Strong computer skills are required in order to quickly learn our multiple systems.
  • Progress towards industry education is expected.
  • Work 8am-4:30pm Monday through Friday from our office in Manhattan, KS.
