Job Title: Project Controller

Location: Boston, MA OR Miami, FL.

Employment Type: Contract 

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented project controller to join our client's team in the project management sector. In this role, you will contribute to implementing controlling plans, cooperating on budget preparation, executing cost variance analysis, and administering processes to identify trends and forecast results.

Responsibilities

• Implement controlling plans aligned to the functional policies and programs
• Cooperate on activities connected to preparation of budgets, reporting tools, and forecast methods
• Execute plans and policies related to analyzing direct and indirect costs, actual vs. budgeted cost variance analysis
• Implement and execute plans to monitor annual revenue/expense budgets for the purpose of controlling funds and measuring operating results

Requirements

• Established subject matter expert within a job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience
• Manage large & complex projects and/or own end-to-end processes, working independently with no supervision or only limited supervision from manager
• 8 years experience
• Master's / Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification

Preferred Qualifications (if any)

• May lead process improvement and process design initiatives
• Experience in interpreting internal or external business issues and recommending solutions/best practices
