Agent in Training:


The Dalton Davis Agency is a high-performing insurance agency located in Haslett, Michigan, and we are looking for a motivated Agent in Training to join our growing team.


This role is designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career in the insurance industry and potentially grow into owning their own agency. Through training, hands-on experience, and the opportunity to work toward the Farmers Protg Program, this position can serve as a stepping stone for someone who wants to learn the business, develop as a producer, and eventually pursue opening their own Farmers Insurance agency.


As an Agent in Training, you will receive support and real-world experience in auto, home, and life insurance while learning how to sell, service, and build relationships with clients. You will work closely with the agency owner and team to learn the daily operations of a successful insurance agency, including quoting, follow-up, client conversations, sales activity, customer service, and agency growth.

Salary Range: $50000.00 - $70000.00 per year

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:


  • Learning auto, home, and life insurance products
  • Assisting with quotes and client follow-up
  • Making outbound calls to prospects and existing clients
  • Helping identify coverage needs and sales opportunities
  • Supporting new business production and agency growth
  • Building relationships with clients
  • Learning agency systems, sales processes, and customer service standards
  • Working toward becoming fully licensed and confident in insurance sales
  • Gaining hands-on experience in how a successful insurance agency operates
  • Providing excellent service and support to clients and team members
