Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Representative to drive equipment sales and market share growth within an assigned territory. This role involves consultative selling, customer relationship development, and technical solution offering to clients operating in industries such as aggregates, recycling, construction, demolition, and landscaping.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for equipment sales including crushers, screeners, conveyors, shredders, wash plants, mulch coloring systems, and related machinery.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts through strategic relationship building and solution-based selling.
  • Conduct on-site equipment demonstrations, presentations, and ROI analyses tailored to customer applications (e.g., composting, demolition, earthmoving, etc.).
  • Collaborate with internal product support teams to ensure customer satisfaction from sale to after-sale service.
  • Track market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to inform sales strategy.
  • Attend trade shows, customer events, and product training sessions to stay informed and connected.
  • Utilize CRM software to manage pipeline activity, submit forecasts, and report on KPIs.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of successful sales experience in heavy equipment, construction machinery, or environmental processing equipment.
  • Working knowledge of aggregate, demolition, recycling, or landscaping applications preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new product lines quickly.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with strong time management and territory planning skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Preferred Experience (Not Required):
  • Familiarity with MSHA/OSHA environments and safety practices.
  • Background in mechanical, industrial, or civil engineering a plus.
