Kilgore Companies, a leading group of construction materials companies, is seeking a skilled industrial mechanic who is a good team player to join their team as an Aggregate Plant Maintenance Mechanic in West Jordan, UT.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintenance activities including preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, equipment repairs and installations to ensure maximum uptime and productivity
• Responsible for optimizing maintenance costs
• Responsible for preventative, predictive and corrective plant equipment maintenance Reviews operation of plant equipment and systems to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate problems and to identify opportunities for improvement
• Looks for ways to improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs
• Will travel to sites throughout Salt Lake and Utah Valley
• Mechanics will need their own tools.

Before employment, candidates will undergo a background check, motor vehicle record check, DOT 5-panel drug screen, fit for duty baseline physical, and paid orientation.
