Job Title: Agile Coach
Duration: 6-Month Contract with possible extension

Job Description
  • Serves as coach and mentor of IT, operations and business resources for programs and teams.
  • Works directly with scrum masters, product owners, technical leads and executives to leverage Agile principles and engineering practices and frameworks to deliver high-value business capabilities.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert on scaling Agile development; embraces servant leadership; understands engineering practices and serves as a role model for the team to model Agile behaviors and mindsets.
  • This often includes key mindset shifts in the journey to Agile.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Acts as a leader as part of an Agile team, coaching teams to adopt and implement Agile practices to deliver high value software solutions that contribute to the success of US Banks technology initiatives.
  • Acts as a change agent who helps set the vision, show the way, and provide thought leadership on removing impediments to Agile success.
  • Coaches and mentors sprint team resources at either the team and/or program levels, including Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Technical Leads and executives.
  • Helps to coach the team on product management, design thinking, engineering culture, and DevOps.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert on scaling Agile development, embraces servant leadership, understands engineering practices and serves as a role model for the team to model Agile behaviors and mindsets.
  • Performs evaluations, and reviews of processes and methodologies. Identifies strengths and continuous improvement recommendations of existing processes.
  • Facilitates team transparency by escalating impediments and shares progress by the team to the appropriate channels.
  • Works with stakeholders and team members across different workstreams to continuously improve and mitigate impediments
