Project Manager / Agile Delivery Lead (Hybrid)
Role Summary
The Project Manager / Agile Delivery Lead supports cybersecurity and cloud initiatives by owning project setup, execution tracking, and agile delivery coordination. This role operates within clearly defined project scope and governance, partnering closely with Product Owners and delivery teams to ensure work is planned, prioritized, tracked, and executed effectively using agile and project management best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery Execution
- Stand up and maintain projects in Azure DevOps (ADO), including Epics, Features, Stories, and dependencies.
- Develop and maintain project dashboards to track progress, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
- Own project level schedules, timelines, and deliverables within assigned scope.
- Prepare materials for and support governance and status meetings.
- Ensure project artifacts remain current, accurate, and aligned to delivery expectations.
- Support delivery readiness for planning cycles such as SAI.
Agile Delivery Lead Responsibilities
- Facilitate and support daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Partner with Product Owners to ensure backlogs are groomed, prioritized, and delivery ready.
- Help teams break down work into actionable stories and tasks aligned to sprint goals.
- Track sprint progress, commitments, and completion against agreed plans.
- Identify and surface blockers, risks, and delivery impediments, escalating as appropriate.
- Reinforce agile best practices and consistent ceremony execution across delivery teams.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying gaps in processes, tooling, or team collaboration.
Stakeholder Coordination & Communication
- Act as a delivery coordination point between Product Owners, delivery teams, and partner teams.
- Provide regular project level updates on status, risks, dependencies, and upcoming milestones.
- Assist with compiling content for executive or program updates when requested.
- Coordinate cross team dependencies and sequencing of work to support delivery commitments.
Governance, Risk, and Capacity Support
- Track project level risks and issues and support mitigation planning.
- Assist Product Owners with capacity awareness and delivery forecasting at the team level.
- Ensure delivery commitments align to available capacity within defined scope.
- Participate in mentorship, shadowing, and continuous improvement activities to strengthen delivery practices.
Qualifications / Experience
- Experience operating in a hybrid Project Manager / Agile Delivery Lead role.
- Hands on experience with Azure DevOps or similar agile delivery tooling.
- Strong organizational, communication, and execution tracking skills.
- Experience supporting cybersecurity, cloud, or enterprise technology initiatives preferred.
Scope Clarification (Highly Recommended for Workday)
- This role focuses on project level execution and agile delivery support within defined scope.
- Program level ownership, portfolio management, and enterprise strategy accountability are outside the primary responsibilities of this position.
