Agile Scrum Master

Responsibilities:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

• Coach and lead an agile team within a scaled agile framework (SAFe)<\/span><\/a>
  <\/li>
• Facilitate team breakouts to plan work and create PI objectives during PI Planning<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Facilitate planning and execution of work during a Program Increment through sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Facilitate backlog refinement by collaborating with the product owners and business analysts<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Track and remove impediments to improve agile team’s efficiency and effectiveness; reaching out to the larger organizational network for impediment removal; ensuring cross -team coordination<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Maintain relevant metrics to understand how well the team is doing and identify areas of improvement<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Perform capacity planning to help teams plan iterations and increments<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to manage dependencies and ensure consistency across teams<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Liaison with architects, cyber security SMEs, and other stakeholders; fostering quality communication between engineering disciplines<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Manage product releases and dependencies between teams and third parties or between assigned teams and other Scrum teams<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Support development of product roadmaps<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Coach the team to continuously improve and become a high performing team<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Develop new processes and refine existing processes to enhance quality and productivity<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Strengthen the presence of the team within the Agile communities of practice and actively contribute to the organization’s Agile Community<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Ensure appropriate staffing for assigned Epics and Features<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Schedule and allocate work, providing advice and guidance, and resolving problems to meet technical performance and business objectives<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Ensure product quality and timeliness of efforts.<\/span><\/span>

  Required skills:<\/span><\/b>
  <\/p>

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and seven years of related experience<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Certified Scrum Master or Certified SAFe Scrum Master with significant experience coaching Scrum teams<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Strong Agile background, with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience leading teams using an Agile Scrum or Scaled Agile approach<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Understanding of all elements of software development including planning, development, requirements management, CM, quality assurance, and release management<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Highly responsible, team -oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic; self -starter<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass an IT -1 background investigation.<\/span>

    Nice to have skills:<\/span><\/b>
    <\/p>

    • SAFe Advanced Scrum Master, SAFe Practitioner, or any other Scaled Agile Certification<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Prior Oracle EBS Federal Financial Management experience supporting DoD<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Experience with Oracle E -Business Suite, information exchanges, data warehouse<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Experience with test automation techniques and tools<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Experience with building in software security (BSIMM, security touchpoints)<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Experience with continuous deployment models<\/span>
      <\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/div>

      Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas.  <\/span>
