Description

Agile Transformation CoachWe are seeking an experienced Product and Agile Transformation Coach to support teams transitioning from project-based delivery to a product-centric operating model, and from waterfall delivery to agile ways of working. This role will focus on coaching teams, leaders, and partners through practical, sustainable change while aligning delivery practices with organizational goals and constraints. The coach will work alongside IT leadership, product managers, delivery teams, and governance partners to embed product-centric thinking, modern delivery practices, and continuous improvement.Key responsibilities include:Coach teams and leaders through the transition from project-centric to product-oriented deliverySupport the shift from waterfall delivery models to agile and hybrid agile practicesProvide hands-on coaching to:Product Managers / Product OwnersDelivery Managers / Scrum MastersCross-functional technical teamsHelp teams establish and refine:Product vision, pipelines, and roadmapsOutcome-based planning and metricsBacklog management and prioritization practicesAssess current delivery practices and recommend pragmatic improvement approachesFacilitate workshops and working sessions (e.g., agile fundamentals, product mindset, team charters)Partner with leadership to align:Governance and funding modelsIntake and prioritization processesDelivery metrics and reportingSupport teams in adapting agile practices to enterprise or public-sector constraintsModel servant leadership, continuous improvement, and psychological safety Provide feedback, observations, and recommendations to leadership throughout the engagementRequired experience and qualifications include:Demonstrated experience as an Agile Coach, Product Coach, or Delivery Transformation CoachProven success coaching teams through project product and waterfall agile transitionsExperience working with cross-functional technical teams (engineering, business analysts, QA, operations, security, data)Strong understanding of:Agile and lean principlesProduct management practicesIncremental and iterative delivery modelsAbility to coach at multiple levels (team, product, leadership)Excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication skillsComfortable working in complex, matrixed, or highly regulated environmentsPreferred experience includes:Experience in public sector, government, or large enterprise transformationsFamiliarity with frameworks such as:Scrum, Kanban, XPSAFe, LeSS, or other scaling approaches (used pragmatically, not dogmatically)Experience evolving governance and funding models to support product deliveryChange management or organizational design experienceRelevant certifications (e.g.
