Position: Agricultural Equipment Operator Requirements: We expect employees to be dependable, accountable, motivated, neat and organized, and be able to effectively communicate and work with many types of people. Employer may provide pay increases for performance and experience at employers discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employers discretion. Job requires extensive pushing and pulling. Employer will conduct post-hire, random drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Employer will conduct post hire criminal background checks at no cost to the employee and will not employ anyone with a felony/theft criminal background. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Extensive pushing or pulling Job description: We farm approximately 1,000 acres of corn, alfalfa, and wheat. Employees will assist with planting, cultivating, irrigating, harvesting, and storing of crops. Regarding farming equipment, employees must be knowledgeable of its function, its abilities, and constraints, continually inspect its condition, perform daily maintenance on its components, perform regular cleaning inside and outside of the equipment, prepare it for its intended use, communicate and coordinate on preventive fluid maintenance and other mechanical repairs needed, effectively and safely operate, thoughtfully and proactively clean and store, and otherwise protect and be productive with equipment. Employees will assist with application of dry manure and compost to fields, grinding of corn, and mixing and ensiling of high moisture corn in Oct-Nov, and taking and analyzing compost samples and temperatures. Employees will assist with all aspects of growing these crops, and complete general farm duties as assigned. Per state regulations, employer is exempt from a commercial CDL requi trucking. No commercial truck driving is required. Paid-time off according to Colorado and Company policies are standard for all regular and H2A employees. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employer's discretion., Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer's discretion.
