Welcome to Agriculture Productions! As Ms. Preslar likes to say, you don't have to have been born or raised on a farm to be a part of her class. Students from all walks of life have enjoyed learning about the numerous college and career opportunities in this industry!
In addition to the classroom and adjoining lab space, the Agriculture Production program boasts a 6,000-square foot greenhouse. This unique environment is home to the annual Poinsettia Sale that takes place every holiday season, as well as the annual Spring Plant Sale, which includes vegetable plants, flowers and greenery.
But Agriculture Productions isn't just about growing plants! Students will learn everything from using virtual software to simulate landscape designs, grow, market and sell greenhouse plants, and safely operate equipment like tractors, mowers and tillers.
