The Darlington Community School District is seeking a passionate Ag Educator to lead our classroom and FFA chapter. We value hands-on learning, community involvement, and the development of future agricultural leaders.
Key Responsibilities
Instruction: Deliver engaging Ag curriculum (Animal/Plant Science, Mechanics, etc.) for grades 8-12.
FFA Leadership: Serve as FFA Advisor, overseeing chapter activities and competitions (separate stipend).
Summer Program: Manage extended summer days for SAE project supervision and fair involvement (separate stipend).
Inclusive Excellence: Collaborate with staff to ensure all students, including diverse learners, gain the skills needed for post-secondary and career success.
Qualifications
Valid Wisconsin DPI License in Agriculture Education.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and the local community.
A student-centered mindset.
