Location: Mayview, MO
Job Type: Full-Time | $18/hr - $22/hr + Overtime + Production Bonus
If you have spent time in the oil field, behind a tractor, on county roads, or anywhere that demands long days and honest work — you already know how to do this job. We just need to get you in the seat.
Ray-Carroll County Grain Growers is a farmer-owned cooperative that has been serving Missouri agriculture since 1931. We take care of the people who take care of the land, and right now we are looking for an Agronomy Applicator to join our Mayview team.
You will be operating John Deere spray rigs, floater trucks, and anhydrous equipment across customer fields — applying fertilizers, chemicals, lime, and anhydrous ammonia for the growers who count on us every season. This is physical, outdoor work and we are not going to pretend otherwise. But if that is your element, you will thrive here.
What a typical season looks like:
Peak season runs September through early December and again from late February through June. During those windows you are moving — early mornings, long days, a lot of acres. The production bonus kicks in on every acre you apply, which means your paycheck grows with your output.
Here is what that can look like in real terms: an applicator running 2,000 acres in a week at the chemical rate earns an extra $800 on top of their hourly wages for that week alone. Peak seasons add up fast.
Outside of peak season the pace pulls back, but there is always work to be done.
You are the right fit if:
We welcome candidates from all backgrounds including those newer to agriculture who bring transferable skills from other demanding industries. If you have the grit and the drive, we want to talk.
What is in it for you:
If you work hard and want to be paid like it, apply today.
