A well-established agronomy company is looking to hire a Location Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy agronomy center. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the agronomy facility, including fertilizer and chemicals
- Lead, coach, and develop location employees while promoting a strong safety culture (8-10 people)
- Coordinate product inventory, receiving, storage, and dispatch to meet customer needs
- Schedule and oversee agronomy operations including blending, loading, application, and delivery
- Maintain excellent customer relationships and provide outstanding service to growers
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, environmental regulations, and safety standards
- Assist with budgeting, operational planning, and achieving location profitability goals
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and facility upkeep to maximize operational efficiency
- Work closely with the sales team to support customer growth and seasonal business demands
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail agronomy, agribusiness, or agricultural operations
- Leadership or management experience preferred
- Knowledge of agronomy products including seed, fertilizer, and crop protection products
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while leading a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work extended hours during seasonal peaks
