Gpac is working with a privately owned agribusiness that is looking to hire an Agronomy Sales Rep for the Eastern Shore territory. This is a unique opportunity for driven, self-starting sales professionals who want to build something big and be rewarded for their performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage tailored crop plans including seed, fertilizer, and crop protection strategies
- Serve as a trusted advisor to growers by delivering timely agronomic insights and recommendations
- Position proprietary and value-added products within comprehensive crop management programs
- Introduce financing options when applicable to support grower success
- Maintain organized records and uphold confidentiality with customer information
- Ensure daily activities are carried out safely and effectively
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in agronomy sales or crop advising
- Strong working knowledge of regional cropping systems and input products
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
