The Fundraising & Development VISTA Volunteer will increase capacity for the whole organization. To ensure long-term sustainability, the volunteer will support capacity building through donor development, fundraising infrastructure, research, systems creation, and volunteer engagement. Conduct a fundraising assessment to identify current funding strengths, gaps, opportunities, and diversification strategies. Create fundraising documents to create sustainable systems for securing funding. Develop a comprehensive grant readiness toolkit, including organizational fact sheets, program descriptions, impact statements, budgets, and frequently requested grant attachments. Attend workshops and trainings on fundraising and grant writing. Develop fundraising plan to identify strategies to increase funding. The VISTA will help build the systems and processes that increase fundraising effectiveness and sustainability.
