DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:NOTE: The following are the duties performed by employees in this classification, however, employees may perform other related duties at an equivalent level. Not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each individual in the classification.
1. First point of contact for visitors and callers. Warmly welcomes on-site visitors, greets them by name and makes them feel important and valued; determines natures of visitors and promptly announces visitor to appropriate staff;' monitors visitor access.
2. Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of caller and forwards call to appropriate personnel or department.
3. Answers a variety of questions about the facility and provides address, directions, and other information
4. Collects and files documents, correspondence, and other printed material; receives sorts, and routes mail; maintain fax machines, copiers, etc. and assist users; take payment for services.
5. Assists the business office specialist with accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing and resident account functions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education:High school Diploma or equivalent. Minimum Experience: One year relevant experience.
PAY RANGE: $23.75- $25.75/hour
The pay range for this position reflects the base pay scale for the role at Alameda Health System. Final compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licenses and certifications, departmental equity, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and the operational needs of the organization.
