General Summary:
The PA or APRN, under the supervision of the Physician(s who acts as the collaborative practitioner(s, is responsible for:
- Performing physical examinations of patient's evaluation and treatment of radiology patients in the outpatient and inpatient settings
- Orders appropriate diagnostic tests
- Monitors the patient's course of treatment and makes appropriate referral to either a physician or specialist, as needed
- Collaborates with physician supervisor and staff, as necessary to provide consistent care to patients and support to staff
- Displays a caring and professional attitude at all times as well as maintaining personal and professional growth
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, patients, and the public
Schedule Details:
- Schedule is Monday - Friday
- Campus: AH Fish Memorial
- No call or evening requirements outside of scheduled shifts
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Strong clinical assessment and medical decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfort in a fast-paced, multifaceted inpatient environment
- Ability to rotate across multiple hospital campuses is required
Required Education and Experience:
- Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Nursing (APRN
- Experience in procedural, interventional, or surgical specialties preferred (not required
- Previous IR or fluoroscopy experience preferred but not required
- Open to new graduates with strong interest in Interventional Radiology and procedural care
Licensure, Certification, and Registration:
- Current, valid Florida PA or APRN license
- Certification by NCCPA, ANCC or other nationally recognized certification organization •
BLS and ACLS required
- Current, valid DEA license
