NTT DATA's Client is currently seeking an AI Architect to join their team in New York, New York (US-NY), United States (US).

Job Description:
AI Architect — Principal/Staff Engineer, Agentic AI Systems
Why: Client's SenSei AIOps team needs someone who owns agent architecture, orchestration, and the trust/autonomy boundary — deciding when an agent acts vs. defers to a human. The need is for someone who has taken multi-agent or autonomous AI systems from prototype to production at real scale — a system that makes decisions and takes actions, not a chatbot wrapper.
Must Have:

• 7–8 years overall experience, with at least 3–4 years recent, hands-on work building and shipping an agentic or autonomous AI system in production
• Direct ownership of core architecture — not a contributor on someone else's design
• Experience at a company like Meta, NVIDIA, AWS, or Google/Gemini (or equivalent AI-native scale-up)
• Experience building evaluation systems that proved the agent was reliable enough to run with real autonomy

Preferred:

• Exposure to a regulated or mission-critical environment (finance, healthcare, infra)

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is $80 to $90. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
