AI Automation Engineer (Remote)
We are seeking AI Automation Engineer to join a leading global aerospace company. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement AI-driven automation solutions and cloud-based infrastructure services using Python, AI frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized technologies to support enterprise applications and operational efficiency.
This is a 12-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week role, and this is a remote role in the US.
This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and a 401K are offered.
Responsibilities
- This role will focus on the engineering and delivery of AI & Automation related program needs by way of AGILE process.
- Develop automation solutions for delivery of managed infrastructure services and support ERP applications
- Help architect an AI strategy and implement AI solutions to support the infrastructure and administration of ERP applications.
- Translate high level design into medium level tasks with more technical detail for the team to implement
- Ensure successful implementation of automation solutions for effective delivery of infrastructure and product solutions to support program schedule
- Assist with team lead activities by coaching\mentoring other team members, reviewing other teammate's work, and setting team tasks\priorities.

Requirements
- Experience in Python coding or other similar language suited for AI solutions.
- Experience working with Ansible, Bash, and Powershell coding
- Experience with Gond or other LM AI frameworks
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipeline
- Hands-on experience building MCP servers and AI agents, including practical skills in prompt/tool orchestration, API integration, authorization and security, containerized cloud deployment, and maintaining critical production applications.
- Bachelor's Degree
