Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Legal operations require continuous alignment between emerging artificial intelligence capabilities and enterprise risk management goals. This role addresses legal workflow bottlenecks, contract review stalls, and gaps in executive compliance reporting by embedding AI solutions across legal and corporate affairs departments. Through strategic translation and rapid prototyping, the position transforms technical capabilities into measurable operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and speed.

What Success Looks Like

  • Partner with legal department leaders to define AI strategies, establish hard KPIs, and deliver Executive Business Reviews that govern ROI and operational risk

  • Collaborate with internal AI subject matter experts to develop and launch rapid prototypes and proof-of-concepts using tools like Google AI Studio for contract analysis, legal research, and regulatory tracking

  • Navigate technical processes across workflow systems like Jira and ServiceNow to eliminate operational obstacles between IT engineering, AI teams, and legal stakeholders

  • Enforce data integrity and strict governance across legal systems of record to maintain reliable executive reporting and accurate audit trails

  • Clear technical and operational barriers for senior non-technical legal stakeholders to accelerate enterprise AI adoption and functional transformation

Skills, Experience and Requirements:

Core Skills and Competencies

  • Deep AI literacy in prompt engineering, LLM behaviors, and generative AI platforms to bridge complex technical solutions with legal strategy

  • Critical experience in legal technology or corporate legal operations with a record of driving cross-functional technology and workflow initiatives

  • Advanced expertise in data governance, legal data privacy, intellectual property protection, and regulatory landscapes to secure proprietary enterprise data

  • Consultative relationship management expertise capable of persuading, educating, and guiding legal counsel and senior executives through technological change

  • Strategic execution skills to anticipate legal operational requirements, interpret risk metrics, and translate compliance data into clear operational decisions

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience within corporate legal departments, legal operations (CLOC frameworks), eDiscovery, or contract lifecycle management (CLM) platforms

  • Industry AI or legal technology certifications from providers such as Google, AWS, Anthropic/Claude, Glean, or Databricks

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum Experience: 5 years of experience in Legal Operations, Legal Technology, or Information Technology
  • Required Technical Skills: Must have at least 3 years of experience with:
    • ServiceNow workflow management and data integration

    • Jira issue tracking and process optimization

    • Automated executive reporting, legal analytics, and dashboard creation

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
