Position Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Open Scholarship and Data Services (OSDS) and in close coordination with the Director of Academic Engagement, the AI & Data Studio Coordinator manages the UGA Libraries' AI & Data Studio by providing essential operational and programmatic leadership. The AI & Data Studio is - a dynamic, interdisciplinary space where students, faculty, and researchers come to explore AI tools, work with data, and engage with each other to enhance their knowledge and understanding.
The Coordinator supports public services and programming by overseeing the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the AI & Data Studio, ensuring alignment with campus needs, coordinating outreach and educational events, and providing continuous support to enhance AI literacy and user engagement. Serves as the operational spine of the Studio, ensuring it functions as a coherent, welcoming, and well-run environment for everyone who walks through the door. Core responsibilities span space and logistics management, cross-program coordination, working collaboratively with Libraries Marketing & Communications, and oversight of the AI Ambassadors peer support program.
