About the Role:
Vytwo is looking for a talented AI Engineer to join our AI Foundations and Platform Enablement team in Dallas, TX. AI Engineer - AI Foundations and Platform EnablementLocation: Dallas, TX and Austin, TXHire type: C2H and FTESalary: $60/hr. / $120K on FTE
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable AI/ML platform infrastructure and foundational tooling
- Develop and optimize machine learning pipelines, model deployment workflows, and MLOps processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and data science teams to enable AI adoption across the organization
- Evaluate and integrate large language models (LLMs), foundation models, and emerging AI frameworks
- Build APIs, SDKs, and developer-facing tools to accelerate AI feature development
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve model performance, reliability, and scalability in production environments
- Establish best practices, documentation, and standards for AI platform usage and governance
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, platform engineering, or a related software engineering role
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX
- Hands-on experience with MLOps tools and platforms (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, or similar)
- Experience working with LLMs, prompt engineering, or generative AI technologies is a strong plus
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- Self-motivated problem-solver with a passion for building platforms that empower other engineers
