Overview
CLIENT is seeking an experienced AI Automation Engineer to accelerate engineering productivity across a complex legacy-to-Python migration initiative and multiple customer-facing platforms. This role is focused on designing and implementing AI-driven engineering workflows that significantly improve developer efficiency across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
The ideal candidate will leverage AI technologies to automate requirements analysis, code generation, testing, defect analysis, and release processes, serving as a force multiplier for the engineering organization.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop AI-powered automation solutions across the SDLC.
  • Build and orchestrate multi-step AI agent workflows for engineering tasks, including code analysis, generation, validation, and feedback loops.
  • Automate development, testing, deployment, and release processes using modern DevOps practices.
  • Develop scalable Python-based tools and automation frameworks.
  • Create AI-enhanced testing solutions, including regression testing, scenario generation, and validation frameworks.
  • Design advanced prompts and workflows for code generation, legacy code analysis, and business rule extraction.
  • Build reusable tooling, agent templates, and best practices that can be adopted across engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and improve delivery velocity.
 
Required Qualification:
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Proven experience building and deploying AI agents and workflow orchestration solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in Python development and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and release automation.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and test automation strategies.
  • Advanced prompt engineering experience for technical and software development use cases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimization.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience performing legacy code analysis and extracting business logic from proprietary systems using AI tools.
  • Java and Spring Boot development experience.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch.
  • Experience with Azure technologies, including AKS and Cosmos DB.
  • Healthcare data or Master Data Management (MDM) domain experience.
