Trident Consulting is seeking an "AI Engineer/Developer" for one of our clients in "Austin, TX (Hybrid onsite 3 days)" A global leader in business and technology services.

Role: AI Engineer/Developer
Locations: Austin, TX (Hybrid onsite 3 days)
Type:Contract
Rate:$65-70/Hr

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models and AI systems (e.g., NLP, computer vision, generative AI/LLMs, recommendation systems)
  • Build and maintain data pipelines for training and inference
  • Deploy models into production environments and ensure scalability, reliability, and performance
  • Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams to integrate AI capabilities into products
  • Evaluate and fine-tune models, conduct experiments, and analyze results
  • Monitor deployed models for drift, bias, and performance degradation
  • Stay current with emerging AI/ML research, tools, and best practices

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related field
  • Strong programming skills in Python (and/or Java, C++)
  • Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps tools
  • Understanding of algorithms, statistics, and data structures
  • Experience with LLMs, transformers, or generative AI is a plus

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with MLOps/CI-CD for ML pipelines
  • Knowledge of distributed computing and model optimization (quantization, pruning)
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
