AI Engineer - Full Time / Permanent, 100% Remote (US Midwest Only)

Everyone says they want to leverage AI...very few organizations really know what that means. We've been asked (by the CIO of a Chicago-based healthcare company) to find an experienced AI Engineer to join their staff as they begin a well planned (and funded) predictive analytics mission.

They've engaged a highly respected implementation partner that you will work closely with to connect and clean up all its business data in Domo, then build AI tools on top of that data so key employees can ask questions, spot trends, automate analysis, and make better decisions. And in their case, this allows for better clinical decisions for the treatment of the elderly - a rare noble use for AI.

You'll be their first-ever staff AI Engineer, designing, prototyping, deploying, and maintaining smart apps. You'll use Domo, Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and Windsurf to accelerate development and innovate - all alongside a fantastic implementation partner with extensive Domo experience. And oh by the way, you'll report to the CIO.

You Bring:

• Domo, Power BI, Tableau, Sigma, Looker, Qlik, or other modern platforms
• Some exposure to healthcare projects
• You have a history of doing (not just talking in meetings)
• Comfort with complexity and desire to innovate - you'll likely invent something along the way
