Role: AI Engineer Location: Washington, DC 20433 Duration: 6 Months – Long Term

Job Description:
Seeking an AI Engineer with strong expertise in Python, APIs, MCP (Model Context Protocol), and RAG-based solutions. The role involves building and integrating AI systems using Azure OpenAI, developing MCP tools/servers for secure tool integration, and designing scalable retrieval-augmented applications.
Key Skills:
Strong Python development experience
Hands-on with RAG (chunking, embeddings, retrieval, evaluation)
Experience with MCP/tool integration & API development
Azure OpenAI & Azure AI Search (vector/hybrid search)
Building secure, production-grade AI/chatbot solutions
Experience:
3-6 years of software development experience.
Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI and Azure AI/Search.
Practical experience with agent frameworks and MCP/tool-use patterns.
