AI Gateway Architect/Engineer
Philadelphia, PA (100% Remote) -EST working hours.

Must Have’s:
· Strong cloud engineering or architecture background (AWS, Azure, GCP), multi-cloud/polycloud preferred
· Exposure to AI gateways, API gateways, LLM workflows, or agentic AI architectures
· Understanding of AI security, governance, and guardrail frameworks
· Ability to translate technical concepts into business/security terms
· Hands-on engineering mindset (not purely advisory)
· Experience working cross-functionally with security and platform teams
· Exposure to AI infrastructure security or governance preferred


Key Responsibilities
· Partner with CTO/platform engineering teams evaluating AI and MCP gateway technologies
· Ensure security requirements and guardrails are incorporated into gateway selection and deployment
· Act as a bridge between business/security stakeholders and technical platform teams
· Help define security requirements and enforcement mechanisms for AI gateway implementations
· Assist with deployment and operationalization of AI security controls
· Evaluate protocol-agnostic and cloud-agnostic gateway considerations
· Support scalable implementation of AI guardrails across enterprise AI solutions
· Provide architectural input on AI workflow integrations and security implications

Skills & Experience
· Strong cloud engineering or cloud architecture background
· Experience across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments
· Understanding of AI gateways, MCP integrations, LLM workflows, or agentic AI architectures
· Familiarity with AI security concepts, guardrails, and enforcement mechanisms
· Ability to translate technical concepts into business/security discussions
· Strong engineering mindset — not purely advisory or architectural
· Experience collaborating cross-functionally with platform and security teams
· Exposure to AI governance or AI infrastructure security is highly preferred
