AI Governance & Financial Intelligence Analyst Technology | AI/ML Platform

As our organization continues to expand its use of Artificial Intelligence across the enterprise, we are seeking an AI Governance & Financial Intelligence Analyst to help provide visibility into AI investments, platform usage, and business value.

This role will partner with Technology, Finance, AI Platform, and business stakeholders to develop reporting and analytics that measure AI adoption, spending, utilization, and return on investment. The successful candidate will help establish reporting standards, dashboards, and governance metrics that support informed decision-making as AI capabilities continue to grow across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop dashboards and reporting to monitor AI platform adoption, usage, and investment across business units.
• Analyze AI consumption trends, including API usage, token consumption, licensing, and overall platform costs.
• Create executive reporting that tracks AI spending, business value, and key performance indicators.
• Partner with Technology and Finance teams to support AI budgeting, forecasting, and cost transparency.
• Assist in measuring the business impact and ROI of AI initiatives by developing meaningful metrics and reporting.
• Support AI governance initiatives by tracking approved AI platforms, usage trends, and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with AI Platform, Product, Risk, and Finance teams to improve reporting processes and data quality.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, operational efficiency, and AI cost optimization.
• Present findings and recommendations to technology and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Financial Analysis, Technology Reporting, or a related field.
• Experience developing dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to analyze and interpret large datasets.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience creating financial or operational reports.
• Experience working with technology organizations, cloud platforms, or enterprise software initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate technical and financial data into meaningful business insights.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting AI, cloud, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with AI platforms such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic, Microsoft Copilot, or AWS Bedrock.
• Understanding of AI usage metrics, token consumption, API-based services, or technology cost reporting.
• Experience with Python for data analysis or automation.
• Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries is preferred.
