The AI Implementation Specialist will serve as BTBK's internal AI operator, builder, and roadmap executor. This person will work directly within our AI toolchain, including Claude Cowork and Code (Anthropic), ChatGPT and Codex (OpenAI), GitHub, n8n, and Notion, to design, build, and deploy practical use cases that eliminate manual effort, accelerate client work, and position BTBK at the forefront of AI adoption in the accounting industry.

This is not a research or advisory role. You will be in the tools daily, building real automations and workflows that go into production.

This is a full-time position.

AI Tooling & Workflow Development

•      Build and maintain AI-powered workflows using Claude (chat, Cowork, and API), ChatGPT, and Codex to automate bookkeeping-adjacent tasks

•      Design and deploy n8n automations that connect internal systems, client data sources, and AI outputs

•      Develop and iterate on prompt libraries, system prompts, and Claude Cowork projects tailored to BTBK's operational needs

•      Leverage ChatGPT Codex for code generation and scripting tasks within our tech stack

Roadmap Execution & Use Case Development

•      Collaborate with the owner and team to identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases across client delivery, internal ops, and growth functions

•      Translate BTBK's AI roadmap into sprint-based deliverables, track progress in Notion or Asana, and report weekly using EOS-compatible cadence

•      Document all workflows, prompt templates, and automation logic for team training and handoff

System & Integration Management

•      Maintain GitHub repositories for scripts, automations, and versioned prompt assets

•      Manage integrations between Notion, Microsoft 365, n8n, and AI platforms

•      Monitor automation performance, debug failures, and iterate on reliability improvements

•      Evaluate and onboard new tools as the AI landscape evolves, providing clear ROI-based recommendations

Team Enablement

•      Train bookkeepers and account managers on AI tools and how to use them in their daily workflows

•      Create internal guides, SOPs, and video walkthroughs for adopted AI tools

•      Act as the internal go-to resource for any AI tool questions or issues

Required

•      Demonstrated hands-on experience with Claude (Anthropic) and/or ChatGPT in a professional or project context

•      Working knowledge of n8n or a comparable automation platform (Prefect, Zapier, Make) and ability to build multi-step automations from scratch

•      Proficiency with GitHub (version control, repo management, basic scripting)

•      Comfort with Notion or similar project/knowledge management tools

•      Strong written communication skills, you document clearly and train others effectively

•      Self-directed learner who stays current as AI tools evolve rapidly

Strongly Preferred

•      Experience with ChatGPT Codex or code-generation AI tools for scripting/automation tasks

•      Familiarity with Claude Cowork or Anthropic API (custom tool building, system prompts)

•      Background in accounting, finance, or professional services environments

•      Experience working within an EOS-run organization

•      Comfort with Microsoft 365 stack (SharePoint, Teams, Excel automation)

Nice to Have

•      Python or JavaScript scripting ability

•      Experience with restaurant operations or restaurant accounting software (R365, Toast, etc.)

•      Prior work at a small, fast-growing firm where you wore multiple hats

•      A builder, not just a talker, you get things into production, not just slide decks

•      Curious and proactive, you follow AI developments closely and bring ideas to the table

•      Detail-oriented enough for accounting adjacent work, creative enough for workflow design

•      Comfortable operating with autonomy in a small-team environment under EOS discipline

•      Excited about the opportunity to shape a firm's AI identity from the ground up

Work Environment:

• Hybrid in-office and remote Environment (T/Th – Office, M/W/F – Home)
• Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods, audits, or month-end closings.
