Location: Charlotte, NC — Hybrid, 3 days onsite/week
Duration: 6-month contract with potential extension
Pay Rate: Up to $62/hr
Interview: 30-minute Microsoft Teams interview

We are seeking an experienced AI / Intelligent Automation Business Analyst to support the delivery of automation and AI solutions across complex business processes.

The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology/engineering teams, translating business needs into clear technical requirements and supporting the development, testing, and implementation of intelligent automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to identify and define automation opportunities.
• Analyze complex business processes and translate requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Create, manage, and groom the product backlog for automation initiatives.
• Support the design and implementation of Intelligent Automation, Generative AI, and Agentic AI solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams developing AI and multi-agent workflows.
• Support automation testing and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Conduct product demonstrations and coordinate product acceptance.
• Identify risks, bottlenecks, dependencies, and potential impacts and communicate them to stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise software development, security, compliance, and SDLC requirements.
• Analyze business problems and develop innovative technology-enabled solutions.
• Work closely with developers to clarify requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Support Agile delivery practices and strategic automation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Business Execution, Intelligent Automation, Product Management, or Technology Consulting.
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical requirements and user stories.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and backlog management.
• Experience supporting automation projects, including testing and UAT.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI, AI agents, or multi-agent systems.
• Experience collaborating with engineering/development teams on AI or automation solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
