Position Overview

The AI/ML Solutions Architect serves as the organization's technical leader for Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent Automation, and Advanced Analytics initiatives focused on optimizing business operations across order management, supply chain, logistics, inventory planning, procurement, and enterprise workflow automation. This role partners with business leaders to identify high-value AI opportunities, evaluate processes, and design scalable solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, decision-making, and customer experience.

The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in AI, machine learning, automation, enterprise systems, and data architecture with a strong understanding of operational processes such as order entry, purchase order management, inventory optimization, transportation planning, and supply chain execution.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the identification, evaluation, and prioritization of AI and automation opportunities across business operations.
  • Design and implement AI-powered solutions that automate order entry, purchase order processing, document parsing, data extraction, workflow routing, and transaction validation.
  • Architect intelligent systems that leverage Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), machine learning, and agentic AI technologies.
  • Develop recommendation engines and predictive models for inventory optimization, demand forecasting, replenishment planning, logistics management, and supply chain decision support.
  • Evaluate existing business processes and recommend automation strategies that improve operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and increase data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and operational leaders to define AI roadmaps, solution architectures, and implementation plans.
  • Establish best practices for AI governance, solution scalability, security, data quality, and model performance.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams implementing AI, analytics, and automation solutions.
  • Monitor emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities to accelerate digital transformation initiatives.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, enterprise systems, or data-driven technology initiatives.
  • 3+ years of experience designing and implementing AI, machine learning, analytics, or intelligent automation solutions.
  • Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, semantic search, and intelligent agents.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems, order management, procurement, supply chain, logistics, inventory planning, and business process automation.
  • Experience building document processing, OCR, intelligent data extraction, and workflow automation solutions.
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms, data engineering, API integrations, and modern software development practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business challenges into practical AI and automation solutions that deliver measurable business value.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing AI solutions within manufacturing, distribution, logistics, retail, or supply chain environments.
  • Experience with predictive analytics, inventory optimization, demand planning, transportation management, or recommendation engines.
  • Knowledge of MLOps, AI governance, model monitoring, and enterprise AI deployment frameworks.
  • Cloud certifications and experience with Azure AI, AWS AI/ML, or Google Cloud AI services.
