AI-Native Software Engineer

IDR is seeking an AI-Native Software Engineer to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining features across innovative platforms that leverage AI and machine learning technologies. It’s an exciting chance to work within a cutting-edge AI environment, focusing on full-stack development and AI-assisted tools.

Position Overview for the AI-Native Software Engineer :

• Responsible for developing and maintaining AI and full-stack features using modern software engineering practices.
• Collaborate within an agentic engineering model where AI participates directly in the SDLC alongside human engineers.
• Participate actively in code reviews, troubleshooting, and deploying scalable AI solutions.
• Engage with AI frameworks, APIs, and tools such as LLMs, vector stores, and prompt engineering.
• Work within cloud environments including Azure, utilizing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.

Requirements for the AI-Native Software Engineer :

• Deep experience with programming languages such as Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, and C# for enterprise backends.
• Knowledge of LLM APIs including OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or Azure OpenAI, and experience with prompt engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AI frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or AutoGen, and vector databases such as Pinecone or Weaviate.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), AI services, and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Ability to implement secure, scalable AI solutions in enterprise environments with a focus on observability and compliance.
