Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced AI Platform Engineer to design, build, and manage secure, scalable AI platform infrastructure in a regulated healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep), CI/CD, AI platform services, and cloud security. This role focuses on enabling AI development through reusable platform components while ensuring compliance with HIPAA, governance, and enterprise security standards.

Key Responsibilities

Build and deploy secure AI cloud infrastructure using Azure, Terraform/Bicep, ARM, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
Configure and manage AI services such as Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, AI Search, MuleSoft, Salesforce Agentforce, Anthropic, and OpenAI.
Implement governance controls including RBAC, Azure Policy, network security, secrets management, audit logging, and policy-as-code.
Develop reusable platform modules, landing zones, templates, and self-service capabilities for engineering teams.
Monitor platform performance, reliability, security, and cloud costs while supporting incident resolution and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with architects, governance teams, and product owners to deliver compliant, scalable AI platform capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of cloud platform engineering experience with 2+ years in Microsoft Azure.
Hands-on experience with Terraform/Bicep, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, & IAC.
Experience with Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, vector databases, model gateways, or similar AI platforms.
Strong Knowledge of cloud networking, identity management, encryption, secrets management, & security best practices.
Experience implementing compliance controls in regulated environments such as HIPAA or PCI.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with MuleSoft, Salesforce Agentforce, RAG architectures, document intelligence, and Agentic AI.
Familiarity with NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, and AI governance frameworks.
Azure certifications (AZ-305, AZ-400, AI-102) or MuleSoft/Salesforce certifications are a plus.
