Job Description:

AI Pricing Analyst

Location: Jackson, Mississippi (Remote)

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Salary Range: $120-145K

Candidates must be able to work on w2 without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Role Overview

The AI Pricing Analyst is responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies for AI-enabled products and services. This role leverages financial analysis, market research, and competitive benchmarking to guide pricing decisions and support business goals. This position will support pricing strategy for AI-enabled solutions, including developing pricing models, analyzing market data, and supporting deal-level pricing decisions to drive profitability and competitive positioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute pricing strategies for AI products and services.
  • Build pricing models, conduct financial scenario analysis, and evaluate pricing performance.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive positioning to inform strategy.
  • Partner closely with finance, sales, and product teams to support deal pricing and assess value-based pricing opportunities.
  • Improve pricing processes through the application of analytics and automation.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance margin performance and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership.
  • Conduct market research to assess pricing trends, competitor positioning, and demand drivers.
  • Present pricing recommendations and strategic insights to stakeholders and senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience:

  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in pricing analysis, financial modeling, revenue management, or a related analytical role.
  • Proven experience building pricing models, forecasting scenarios, and conducting margin analysis.
  • Experience analyzing market trends, conducting competitive benchmarking, and performing value-based pricing analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams, including finance, sales, and product leadership.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and scenario analysis.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree with a focus in Finance, Accounting, or a STEM field is preferred.
  • Experience applying advanced analytics, automation, or AI-enabled insights to improve pricing processes.
  • Experience in professional services, technology, AI, or government services pricing environments.
  • Experience with SQL, pricing databases, or other analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or financial systems that support pricing and forecasting.
  • Certified Pricing Professional (CPP), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification.
