Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and curious intern to work directly with executive leadership on identifying and implementing practical applications of AI across our organization. This is a hands-on opportunity to build real solutions that improve how a business operates. In addition to AI-focused work, the intern will collaborate with a broader intern cohort to gain exposure to multiple facets of the organization, developing a well-rounded understanding of how a small business operates and how each function connects. Over the course of 10 weeks, the intern will explore, design, and deliver specific AI-driven process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce manual work, and enhance decision-making across departments.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate current business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for AI-driven improvement
- Research, test, and apply AI tools in real-world business scenarios
- Partner with department leaders to understand workflows and pain points
- Collaborate with fellow interns to gain cross-functional exposure and share insights across departments
- Design and prototype solutions to streamline tasks such as:
- Data entry and document processing
- Reporting and analytics
- Customer communication and service workflows
- Internal knowledge management
- Assist in building automations, dashboards, and AI-powered assistants
- Present findings, progress, and recommendations to leadership on a regular basis
- Deliver a final project that includes:
- A fully developed AI-driven solution (or pilot program)
- Measurable impact (time savings, cost reduction, or efficiency gains)
- A roadmap of additional opportunities identified during the internship

Ideal Candidate is/must have:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong interest in AI, automation, and improving how things work
- Fluent in Microsoft ecosystem (Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Copilot)
- Naturally curious-asks "why do we do it this way?" and looks for better solutions
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Effective communicator who can translate technical ideas into simple business terms
- Self-starter who can manage a project with guidance but not constant direction
- Team-oriented and excited to collaborate with other interns across different areas of the business
Bonus (Preferred, Not Required)
- Exposure to CRM/ERP systems or general business workflows
What Success Looks Like
By the end of the 10 weeks, you will have:
- Delivered at least one meaningful AI-driven process improvement within the Microsoft ecosystem
- Identified additional opportunities for future implementation
- Created documentation or tools that the company can continue to use
- Developed a strong understanding of how a small business operates across multiple functions
