AI Process Intelligence Specialist

ROLE SUMMARY/PURPOSE: The AI Process Intelligence Specialist is a hands-on role on Locke's Business Excellence team, based at the Houston Plant with up to 20% travel. You will use AI, system data, documents, transcripts, and other existing evidence to build the first draft of a process before pulling employees into meetings, so employees validate and correct the draft instead of starting from scratch. This role helps Locke move away from slow, hand-built process discovery toward a faster, smarter, and more scalable way to map, maintain, and improve how work gets done. Success looks like most priority processes mapped and current, AI getting most drafts right on the first pass, and Locke's leaders able to look up who owns a process and what system runs it without asking the role directly. Successful Key Results for the AI Process Intelligence Specialist: Successful Results Area #1 - Process Mapping & AI-First Discovery · Draft how a process works from existing evidence before any meeting, then run short validation sessions where employees check the draft rather than build it from scratch. · Build and maintain Locke's process map end to end, from top-level down to task level, linking every process to its owner, systems, and KPIs. · Drive discovery speed down and hold AI-first discovery at 90%+, with 80%+ of AI drafts needing only small fixes. Successful Results Area #2 - AI-Driven Diagnosis & Opportunity Pipeline · Diagnose process bottlenecks and gaps using AI rather than manual review. · Flag automation and AI opportunities and route them to the right owner, maintaining a live opportunity pipeline. · Maintain roughly 80% process map coverage of priority processes in Year 1, with 95%+ of processes assigned a named owner. Successful Results Area #3 - Documentation & Process Governance · Keep process documentation current, not stale, and answer process questions as they come up. · Ensure leaders can find who owns a process, what system runs it, and where the gaps and wins are without asking the role directly. REQUIREMENTS: · 4+ years of experience in process management, continuous improvement, or a similar role. · Comfortable with AI tools, prompt engineering, and reading messy evidence. · Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Titan/Titan3000, sufficient to pull evidence rather than configure the systems. · Able to tell a confirmed finding from a guess. · Based at the Houston Plant, with up to 20% travel.
