Projects include AI-assisted marketing, content creation and distribution, multilingual publishing, and AI agents for web properties that help clients and colleagues find relevant services and information.
This role connects marketing leaders who define business priorities with the technology teams developing solutions. You’ll help shape ideas into clear requirements, organize delivery, and keep initiatives moving through rapid prototyping, testing, implementation, and adoption.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on project leader who understands marketing needs, communicates effectively with developers, and can bring structure to evolving work within a large, complex organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate multiple AI and marketing technology initiatives, managing priorities, dependencies, risks, and delivery activities.
- Partner with marketing stakeholders to clarify business problems, define use cases, and establish priorities and expected outcomes.
- Translate business needs into clear requirements, acceptance criteria, and actionable direction for development teams.
- Develop and maintain delivery plans covering scope, ownership, milestones, resources, decisions, and dependencies.
- Support an Agile environment where teams rapidly prototype, test, gather feedback, and refine solutions as requirements evolve.
- Coordinate business stakeholders, development teams, data and architecture partners, security teams, and vendors across the U.S., Ireland, and India.
- Facilitate working sessions, track commitments, resolve blockers, and escalate issues or decisions when needed.
- Oversee pilots, testing, release readiness, implementation, and transition to ongoing support.
- Incorporate data readiness, integration, privacy, security, brand, and responsible AI considerations throughout delivery.
- Establish appropriate human-review checkpoints and governance controls with the relevant stakeholders.
- Define KPIs and measures of adoption, effectiveness, process improvement, and business value.
- Support communications, training, feedback collection, and user adoption.
- Provide clear updates to business sponsors, technical teams, and leaders at different levels of management.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of relevant project or program management experience.
- Experience working within a large, complex organization.
- Strong project, portfolio, and strategic management skills.
- Experience delivering technology initiatives in Agile environments, including rapid prototyping and changing requirements.
- Experience working with CRM platforms and business technology workflows.
- An understanding of Marketing business processes and the ability to communicate those needs clearly to developers.
- Working knowledge of AI fundamentals, including models, agents, delivery, validation, governance, privacy, and security.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, meeting facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and create structure when requirements and priorities are still developing.
- Flexibility to collaborate across time zones, including starting the workday an hour or two earlier when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, content, or customer-engagement initiatives.
- Experience delivering AI, generative AI, or intelligent-automation solutions.
- Consulting or insurance industry experience.
- Experience coordinating global or offshore development teams.
- Familiarity with marketing AI tools, Claude, Clay AI, Databricks Genie, Wrike, SharePoint, or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting change management, training, and technology adoption.
Education & Certifications
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or comparable project or product delivery certifications are a plus.
Ideal Candidate
You enjoy working closely with business and technical teams, asking questions, clarifying priorities, and helping people make decisions. You can take an emerging idea and guide it toward a useful solution with clear ownership, appropriate controls, and measurable results.
