AI Prompt Writer

We are supporting our client on a search for an AI Prompt Writer who will sit at the intersection of writing, product, and AI. This is one of the most novel seats in modern tech: you will write the prompts that power real products that real people use every day.

You will work fully remote alongside product, design, and engineering. We are intentionally open to recent grads, internship grads, journalists, novelists, marketers, lawyers, teachers, and other writers who are obsessed with LLMs. If you have built useful things with ChatGPT or Claude in your spare time, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Write and refine prompts that power real AI features and workflows
• Build and maintain a prompt library with clear documentation
• Run structured evaluations to compare prompt versions and models
• Partner with product, design, and engineering on AI feature launches
• Translate fuzzy product goals into clear, testable prompts
• Stay current on new models, capabilities, and prompting techniques
• Document patterns, anti-patterns, and prompt design guidelines
• Help train and onboard internal teams on prompt best practices

Requirements

• 0 to 2 years of writing, editorial, content, marketing, or technical writing experience
• Strong writing skills and a love of clear, precise language
• Hands-on familiarity with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar tools
• Curiosity, hustle, and a willingness to test and iterate constantly
• Open to recent grads, internship grads, career changers, and self-taught builders
• Bachelors degree preferred but not required, especially if you have a portfolio
