About Team:
PICO system prototyping team's mission is to incubate the next generation XR products including MR headsets, AR glasses and more smart wearables. Based on ByteDance group's vision, the team independently comes up with product vision, roadmap, definition, architecture as well as initial designs including experience, structural, electrical, firmware as well as software. The startup style team has always been working on system-level missions that are tremendously commercially valuable yet seem technically impossible, therefore, we are also called the IMF.
Product Incubation Team:
In the Product Incubation Team, designs, builds, and tests preliminary, high-fidelity, or low-fidelity software applications to validate AI product concepts, UIUX, and functionality early in the development lifecycle.
Be part of frontier AI software prototyping efforts on smart glasses, AR glasses, wearables, headsets and more. Applications include conventional software development, agentic AI, edge AI, et al.
Rapid software development and iteration on Web, iOS, Android, MacOS, WatchOS, WearOS, Linux, RTOS for demonstrating and validating early product features, for example agentic AI, user interactions, TikTok et al.
Work closely with product managers, software engineers and hardware engineers to deliver innovative user experience demos, conduct user studies, verify values, influence key features for future products.
Very strong software fundamentals and coding skills in C, C++, Javascript, Swift and or Kotlin.
Strong front-end skills in UIUX design, user-oriented mobile and web graphics design. In interviews, please showcase design portfolios, web and or mobile apps released.
Experience in conversational and agentic AI software development and applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with deep knowledge and practice on AI are preferred. For example, experience with agent frameworks, AI automations, conversational AI architectures, memories.
Candidates with strong UIUX design skills are preferred. For example, conventional Figma design and or AI-powered design workflow.
