Descriptions:

Has strong hands-on engineering experience building microservices using Python and Node.js (should be able to solution and use AI to develop)

has built cloud-native and event-driven solutions using AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, and related AWS services.

has strong Apigee API gateway experience, including proxy development, policies, routing, OAuth/security, KVMs, API products, and deployments across environments.

Has practical AI engineering experience, including LLM integration, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, and structured outputs, and has implemented AI solutions in production.

Has experience with tool/API orchestration, intent routing, and deterministic backend integration

Has agentic AI experience, especially around workflow orchestration, tool calling, and AI-assisted decision flows.

Has indepth knowledge of AI guardrails, PII/PHI protection, prompt injection prevention, logging, monitoring, and response validation.

Has the ability to design and build secure, scale, API-driven AI solutions end to end.

Must-Have Skills

• Python programming and microservices architecture
• FastAPI for backend API development
• LangChain for LLM orchestration and integrations
• LangGraph for managing complex AI workflows and stateful executions
• OCR technologies (Tesseract) for text extraction
• Agentic AI, workflow orchestration, and prompt engineering
• Cloud-native solutions and API gateway experience
• AI guardrails, PII/PHI protection, and prompt injection prevention

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Build and orchestrate LLM-based workflows using LangChain and LangGraph.
• Integrate Tesseract OCR for document scanning, text extraction, and preprocessing from images and PDFs.
• Develop backend services for AI/ML-driven use cases, focusing on performance, security, and scalability.
• Implement prompt workflows, agents, and state graphs for complex AI reasoning pipelines.
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and documentation.
• Optimize APIs and processing pipelines for speed, reliability, and accuracy.

Good to Have

• Exposure to OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or other LLM platforms.
• Experience with document processing pipelines (PDFs, images, scanned files).
• Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS).
• Knowledge of vector databases and embeddings.
